This application was developed as part of my PhD in Clinical Psychology and as a research fellow at HEI-Lab (Lusófona University), with the aim of testing a non-verbal capture system as a new strategy in the passive assessment of psychological distress.
In this experiment, while participants describe their previous experiences with psychological distress, the system captures eye, facial, head, hand and voice movements. The whole experience takes place autonomously using a synthetic agent that guides the participants through the task.
